I've got MSN and I'm locked in to a year more or something (help! ).I noticed that I can connect using just dialup networking in Windoze. (Even though you can also connect with an icon in the tray. which basically just connects and opens up IE). Could I connect to MSN using Linux? Has anyone tried? Am I outta line to hope that I can?

Same problem here.
I've used kppp to dial up my MSN connection, but haven't gotten all of the kinks out.
First thing to note is that you have to put MSN/ in front of your login name. For example, a login name of tux becomes MSN/tux.
Doing this, I was able to connect, but still can't get any url's to come up. I don't get any error messages, I just get - nothing.
If I get it figured out, I'll post it.

You never know...your problem could just be MSN doing what it always does...suckin'. Sometimes it does that in windoze too.

I did it for a year. SuSE 7.1 even had MSN listed as an Internet Provider.
Also configured Slackware, RedHat and BSD.
However-- getting your e-mail from there is a pain. It requires you to login via some sort of Web Interface...
