Hi, Is there a way I can capture images of various windows, views and whatnot when I'm running a KDE or Gnome session? In Windows, it's just "print screen", then you paste the "image" to wherever. Possible in Linux? (I'm want to do this to help write training guides for my office)

Use the GIMP to take screenshots or of just the current window.

You can use the program KSnapshot that comes with kde. You can also use it in GNOME.
