dunno about icq and napster but my AIM works through my firewall without doing anything special. you would need to find out what ports icq and napter use then open them on your firewall.

well icq2k works fine through my slackware firewall, using ip_masq_icq (although incoming file transfers for icq2k are a little funny sometimes) i think and the new napster seems to look for an available port on the system to use on its own, there is an option i think that says 'i am behind a firewall and there is nothig i can do about it' or something to that affect..
hope this is helpful at any rate..

Hmm they all work fine on my box (masquerading in linux 7). Direct connection with AOL dont work unless i connect to someone with a REAL IP(no NAT), I am try to fix that with some port forwarding.

Running Linx 7, with SAMBA(file sharing), POP3, DHCP, IPCHAINS firewall, Doing NAT. Soon running DNS.
