Hi! I am running RH7.1 and was trying to print to a windows printer on our LAN. I tried the print conf utility but to no success. I was reading about CUPS and liked the idea of trying it. I installed CUPS successfully along with qtcups. I was trying to install kups that would help me set up printers and administer them. When compiling it from source or installing from rpm, I get wiered dependency problems. This library is supposed to be a dependency libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3. I looked for this file and found a few rpms that included this lib. When I try to install the rpms that I found, I get an error saying that a new version of the rpm is already installed and the libraries are conflicting. I tried to create a symbolic link of the existing lib to the needed one but I still get dependency error. I have seen that lot of people have had problems with the lib I mentioned but I have not been able to find what is best way of working around it.

Any Ideas???

Thanks.
