to start off with i just deleted linux off this computer (dont worry im putting it on my other computer with a bigger harddrive.) which is a IBM Thinkpad 365XD. second before i removed it i had a great working dual boot with windows 98 and peanut linux 8.1 using loadlin. third i resized my windows partition to fit the whole disk all for free. (ie. no $70 partition magic)
to start off with uninstalling linux all i did was boot to a DOS Pormpt with fdisk on the floppy and delete the linux partition. that was it.
the dual boot i got from a NHF right here in the OS Booting page go to dual boot using loadlin. just remember when installing linux DO NOT install any boot manager. but you will need a linux boot floppy.
third repartition the harddrive was pretty simple i went to download.com and downloaded the ultimate boot disk for windows 95/98 and made a boot disk. on this dis is a bunch of tools the coolest ones are fdisk and ranish partition manager. ranish partition manager will partition and resize partitions with out any data loss. and its free. all you do is select it in the MORE TOOLS option and go for it. it has a DOS gui so it is prety easy to use. there are many other cool things on this boot disk so i would sugest it to anyone.
the reason i removed linux off this computer is one i only have a 1GB harddrive and two it is a laptop and hard to setup X on here and i tried everything i could and still could not get it to work so i am puting it on my desktop that i am getting soon. well if you have any question about what i did just send me an e-mail or post a reply.
