Hey All-

I'm trying to get a copy of the gzip utility for my Solaris 2.6. I've tried over the last few days to download it from www.sunfreeware.com (http://www.sunfreeware.com) but can't seem to access their ftp server. Anybody know what's up or another place to get gzip? I did a browse for gzip, but the webpages I found all point to sunfreeware. Any help appreciated.

Just head over to gnu.org. They have tons of utilities. Unfortunately some aren't ported too all UNIX O/S's. Just gotta compile it and you're in buisness. Gzip should compile just fine though. Solaris 2.6 seems to be one of the more supported commercial UNIX's out there.
