what are they? and i assume they are some kind of gnome but how can i tell which i am using? do you have any links where i could get more info? its been hell sort of so far with mandrake 8.0 . It didnt come with gimp, and to get gimp i had to get glibc, gtk, but before i got gtk i had to figure out why it wasnt working and then i got the devel pkg for x libraries and headers. anyways i installed black box , and tried to get it working, i made .xsession, and .xinirc, did a whole bunch of other things but i dont even know if my graphical login is gdm or xdm. and besides i added blackbox into both but it still does nothing. one thing thats really pissing me off is themes. i dont have any except for default, using sawfish and gnome, and i followed the directions for sawfish to add themes but it is broken. it does not work , and i did searches on usenet and found ppl with the same exact problems, but nobody has the answer. I think it might have something to do with ximian or helix or whatever crapp *** stuff mandrake put on their distro , but thats gay if it ships with only one theme available. one guy on usenet said you need the rep rpm but i found it for debian . and i would like to stat that all OSDN sites are crapp *** piecesz of SHI*****T i hate every one of them . and the search for the forums on this site does not work either. I also followed the exact directions for installing blackbox in the NHF . but i cant get it started. even from CLI i cant do blackbox and it wont let me do blackbox in an xterm. anyways i feel like breaking something so im glad to release all this hot air
