getting sound?

hey again
my main question is how do i configure my sound card for linux
i just noticed yesterday that i had no sound ;D

opps, i just realized i only asked 1 question.

well to fill some space here is another.
im trying to install Licq 1.0
i got the first part installed but when i was doing the plugins it said i don't have Qt library - if i need to dl it does anyone have a link for me?

You did not specify your distro or type of sound card, so I would suggest you have a look at the NHF's here.

For the QT libraries, you can check your distros website for the updated one, or search rpmfind or the QT website. Sorry I cannot give you the exact addresses as I rebuilt my laptop last week and forgot to backup all my favorites. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif
