Well.....I am back at the newbie academy since I really don't know how to install RD. I have a CDRM that was suppose to do the trick and it did not.
When I put the disk in my cdrom it does the installation somewhat automatically. But I have to admit......I am lost as what to do first. Is there any basic instructions.......for a newbie?
Thanks again.

Newbie stumbling blocks are found in the terminology.
You are going to be asked where you want to install RH.
Since I haven't installed RH 6.2, I'm making a few
assumptions.
You should see a table that shows you how your hard drive
is partitioned. If you have Windows installed, it will
probably be listed first under "Device" hda1, and further
clues are found describing the "Type" which should show
FAT32 or some such.
If you have a free partition(s), it will be shown as
hdax, where x is another number, not necessarily 2.
Select the free partition and then choose "Edit", if
such a choice exists. The next piece of confusing
terminology is "mount point" If there is a field that
allows you to enter a value, then enter the forward slash (/)
This is where the OS will be installed. (I'm going to
avoid using "root" because there are two root directories.)
The whole point of this exercise is to get Linux installed.
Never mind, at the moment, that you can create more partitions.
You will learn about them later. You should also have the
option of creating a swap partition--choose a size equal to
or double the size of your RAM.
Installation issues usually takes up an entire chapter in manuals,
and that's not going to happen here.
As long as you don't select the Windows partition, and muck around
with it, getting past this mount point business will get you
on your way. All the other options are straight forword.
Don't guess at your monitor settings if it is not detected.
Instead choose generic VGA .
