Every time I log in I need to reconfigure my NIC.
I run depmod -a
modprobe fa311
netcfg
I then use netcfg to activate etho
But it is kind of annoying to have to do this every time I log in. How do I make these changes permanent. All the books I have seem to imply that simply making these changes makes them permanent, but I'm here to tell you, it ain't so.
