Anyone try QNX? I am just curios what experiences others may have with it.

My modem didn't work, but I didn't tinker with the settings a lot.

I tried it. Very interesting. Amazing how much they could fit on one floppy. A window manager, web browser, kernel, a few programs... The mouse was very slow, though.

I downloaded the realtime platform, gonna install it tomorrow...

The floppy is great for testing networks: boot from the floppy, assign an ip address and you have a working network...

One thing I would caution on QNX is the bootloader. THe install asked me if I wanted to use the bootloader I had installed, or use the one for QNX.
Well, I put faith in theirs and it failed. Did any of you try the bootloader?

In my case, it just set up a menu in config.sys to choose between Qnx, Windows, or Qnx (dma disabled)....

Btw, it's great! Very nice graphical interface, very easy to start with if you have some experience with linux, extremely easy to set up...
