xfree 4.0 (change resolution)

/stand/sysinstall loads a version that is the same look as before xfree 3.3x. I just installed 4.0.

I'm worried that this will screw up XF86Config.

I'd like to crank the size of my screen from 1100x800ish to either 1024 or 800. I dont like super small screens.

I'd venture to say that "there's only one way to find out, so go for it". Go ahead and run XF86Setup. Worst case scenario, you just wipe X and install from those wonderful little tgz packages.
