I'm a helpdesk guy in an NT environment, butwe do have a couple of Sun boxes that act as firewalls. As a testament to the *nix reliabilty, NO ONE knows anything about the setup, or even operation of these machines. They just sit there and do their thing, unfettered by the rest of the crap we have.
Anyway...
After closing down one of our offices, we have a Sun Enterprise 250 server sitting around collecting dust. My question is, how the hell do I do anything on this machine? The prompt says 'ok' and doesn't respond to any of the general stuff I know how to do: ls, cd, etc. It doesn't even have a logon when it boots up. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
If anyone has any idea what to do with this thing, let me know.
