We had this discussion before, and SCO UnixWare is about the closest thing to real UNIX that's available to the general public (read: inexpensive). Lemme see if I can find the old thread.

Netware !! http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif just kidding,but its not bad.My fav(though I dont know how close to the original(sp) it is) is True 64 and VMS,then a BSD OS and then for Linux its Slakware.

If you're interested, you can get the source code for various ancient/original unices from http://www.sco.com/offers/ancient.html

They also have this 4 cd set, I think I'll try it out someday...
