I keep trying to install solaris, but it just doesn't want to! I get all the way to the partitioning point and it says "No Suitable Disks found"! This happens no matter what I do. If I delete every partition, it still happens! What is wrong with it!

are you using an offboard ide controller or is the controller ata66?

My guess is that they are scsi hard drives? I dont know what to tell you. In regular solaris I would set the default boot alias to falst then boot to ok> (boot prom). From there I would run the command probe-scsi-all to see what disks it finds... then set a new alias for the scsi cdrom and boot to that device. sorry if this doesnt help x86.. ]\\

Just a quick question, is the Solaris x86 install anything like the install for Sparc? Just curious...

no SCSI, no fancy controllers (my PCI IDE controller is only plugged into a CD-RW). The HD is just a regular ata33 HD plugged into an on board IDE Port. Even if I kill every partition, it still says this.

The installer is called Web Start 3.0. It may be just like the SPARC but I couldn't tell you.

The web start is the same as the web start for solaris 8. I have seen this befor with Linux but never with Solaris.. why dont you try to fdisk your machine then do not partition it and see if that has an effect? Did you search sunsolve? I recommend searching there on your error description,..
