must be character based, and I need to see CPU usage for all CPU's, disk I/O stats for ALL disks, memory usuage, and stats for ALL network interfaces. vmstat and iostat are almost worthless.. top is ok for a quick check but I need to collect some stats.
Any ideas???

Check out Performance Co-Pilot and PCPMON:
Freshmeat search (http://freshmeat.net/search/?q=performance+monitoring+tool)
Performance Co-Pilot (http://oss.sgi.com/projects/pcp/)
PCPMON (http://k332.feld.cvut.cz/~lemming/projects/pcpmon.html)
Can't believe you didn't check freshmeat before asking here... Tsk Tsk...

Thanks I think..... But no one read the question I posted:
Character based. I can't collect stats with a graph.
Freshmeat gave a lot of hits, I had already searched, but none of the tools do what I want. CPU (both of them), ALL DISKS, ALL NICS.
Thank you http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

Yes, I did, Performance Co-Pilot is console-based. I only threw PCPMON on there in case you wanted a gui fe for later.
