termcap and terminal fonts in freebsd

ive got freebsd 4 running pretty well now so ive started customizing it to my liking but im having some trouple getting my terminal the way i like it. in linux im using the linux term and font cp865-8x8, i like to have a high resolution on my console with some fine fonts( i hate scrolling). ive noticed that freebsd has the ability to do the linux term also and i think ive set the fonts and everything correctly but it hasnt change, where should i start to get the console the way i want it?

if you are going to change the resolution, you will need to rerun XF86Config.. make your changes.. see if you like it and then set the link or try again...
