linux on 5200 ppc

I was thinkin of puttin linuxppc or yellow dog on this comp. I have no idea how to do this on the mac. Which version should i go with, and does anyone know where there is a good easy to follow install guide for this?

Linux PPC will not run on a 5200, and neither will YDL. MKlinux will work ( http://mklinux.org )

I suggest if you don't want to use the Mac OS at all, you set up a yaboot partition. This would mean you have a 20 or so MB partition, that only includes the 4 files nessesary for booting the machine. you install linux onto the other partition(s) you set.
