I keep getting an error (it flashes too quick to read) when I try to login. I type in "root", the screen flashes the message and I am presented with the login prompt again. This is the first time I've ever used linux. I have just completed the setup and now I'm stuck.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there some simple solution that I missed?
I am using Yellowdog linux (Champion 1.2) on a G3 (wallstreet) Powerbook (BootX).
Any thoughts?
