Has anyone successfully configured his/her serial port for a color stylewriter pro printer for linuxppc?
I'm running linuxppc 2.2.15re3 on a powermac 6500. The stylewriter is plugged into the printer port (ttyS1). I've set up a filter using rh printtool. When I send a file to print, the file gets in the queue and says it's printing, but the printer lies dormant. I tried initializing the printer port using stty, but this causes linux to freeze up.
