Mac Performa

Not knowing much about performas (or macs for that matter) what is the minimum hw req's for Linux on a mac?

saying Performa is kind of like saying a Dimension or Pesario. if your looking for mac/linux specific info try:

if it's a PCI bases PowerPC mac... Yellow Dog runs great

I have a Preforma 6400/180 and I am running Linux PPC 2k. It runs fine, a little slow however.
The requirements are as follows:
PCI system bus
32 mb if ram (48 or 64 recommended)
90 mhz (this one would be a little slow)
1 gb of hard drive space (the max it will take is about 1.5 gb)
That should be all you need. The only thing that you may have to check out is the system bus.
