Hello, I just install the new KDE 3.05 from cvs. Everything works ok, but its collest feature (menu transparency) doesn't work at all. I just compiled the required packages (kdebase, kdelibs, and arts) and kdeartwork. BTW, I am using an lfs system. I wonder if I have to installed something else to support this feature.

how are you trying to enable transparent menus? What theme are you using?

Well, every single theme that support menu transparency. KDE default, High Color, Keramik, etc. Nothing works. I also tried Mosfet's Liquid. This one works a little better. The menus from applications ( File, Edit, View, Help, etc) are transparent. However, the main menu (from the kicker) is not.
