Could someone tell me how to reformat
my hard drive . Do I use an MSdos
bootdisk? I really need to get this one
clear my other drive is going bad.

boot up on a msdos boot disk and use fdisk. it will get rid of the partition.
basically:
boot up on disk
run fdisk
choose 3
then choose option to delete non dos partition
go back to main fdisk menu
choose 1
create a new partition (assuming fat32)
reboot
boot up on disk again
rund fdisk again
choose 4 and make sure your new partition is presesnt
exit back to msdos prompt.
run format X: X being your drive letter.
then disk is ready for what ever you want.
