i understand that there are now windows messanger products compatable with linux. Has anyone used them, and if so do they work with your same icq# and allow you to use your same contacts?

There's also a program called everybuddy that allows you to combine lists from multiple im programs ... haven't tried that one yet though. I use licq and gaim personally and they both work great. You can use your existing member profile/icq number though I'm not sure if you'd be able to import your info/contact lists from your windows install ... though then again I never tried either. justlinux.com
