Hi,
I want to change my XFree86 version to 4.0.3 so I can use my 3D video card and play OpenGL games on Linux. I typed 'X -version' at the command prompt and I noticed that my XFree vesion was only 3.3.6
I tried to change my version by going to the Mandrake Control Center under the hardware--> display menu. I went to expert mode, and selected XFree 4.0.3. Everything seemed to look alright, but when I attmepted the X -version command the next day, the version was still set to 3.3.6. Can anyone give me a hand setting up X 4.0.3?
