Hi,
I am new to blackbox (I've been using KDE for a while) and I tried editing the menu to add "aterm"

so I opened up the file:
/usr/local/share/Blackbox/menu

and added the line:

[exec] (aterm) {aterm -rv -tr -fb 6x13 -sh 50 -sb -sl 400 -ls}
and saved it and now "aterm" is in the menu but when I click on it nothing happens.

what did i do wrong?

thanks

erm.. i think that should work, but i suppose you have to restart bb so that the changes could take effect.. and if still isn't working then, put that menu in your $home/.blackbox

Look in ~/.blackboxrc for the line:
session.menuFile: /etc/X11/blackbox/blackbox-menu
You can edit that menu or what I did was make one blackbox-menu-custom and I edit that one and leave the original as a backup.
