I am trying to serve a web site from behind my linksys router. I have the router set up to forward port 80 and all that works fine. the only thing is, my cable service is DHCP. So, I use dyndns to keep my domain name updated. The only problem is, I don't know how to get the external ip from the router. I have found a python script that someone wrote that is supposed to work, but I an't get it to. I am getting the same error that he has listed on his page, but I know my password is correct. If you have a router and/or know python or use a dynamic hosting service, please help me out with this issue. Site of the script http://greenman.dyndns.org/ls_dyndns/
