Just switched from KDE 2.1 to BlackBox, and I'm loveing it actully, its so simple and elegant. Just like to know if there is anywhere I should really look for info on how to configure it to my needs?

Thank ye, Kindly for any help in advance.

I found something that you might want to check out: http://users.forthnet.gr/kav/pesid/window/bb.html

Nothing fancy there, but it tells a little about the basics of Blackbox and menu configuration.

Here's another link. It has all the sections Bo Peeps didn't.

Hope this helps :)

Congratulations on your decision to move up to Blackbox. As you have already noticed it is truly a fantastic window manager. Rather than refer you to any sites I'll just promote a few applications which you might find useful:
1. Bbkeys-This app allows you to assign commands to your keyboard so that you don't have to use the menu as often. It works with bbkeysconf--or is it bbkeysconfig? Anyway, make sure you get both progs (although if you are on Debian you might just have to apt-get bbkeys).

2. Toolbox-This is a point & click tool that allows you to make Blackbox themes.

3. Any Window Maker dockapps (yep, that's right) if you compiled Blackbox with slit support you can run WindowMaker dockapps and have them dock in the Blackbox slit.

I will now refer you to www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) where you will be able to do productive searches for all of the above.

I thank you all for your help, but right now, I have really one question, how do I swap the mouse buttons around.

Thank ye kindly.
