Konqueror doesn't browse

I've installed KDE 2 in my Slack
and my Konqueror doesn't browse the net.
Whenever I try to browse the net it says "Could not create view for text/html. Check your installatioin"
What's wrong with my installation??

Go to the Slackware site and download and install the openssl package and install it. If this does not work post here again. Cheers.
