I locked my self out of my root account. It only allows one second for someone to type in the pw for the root account. I have suse so I was changing some security settings in Yast2, by accident i left 1 sec in box for seconds to deny pw. But now when i go back and change the time to enter in a pw, i have to enter the root pw, and i have only one second to enter it in. I cannot. Is there someone out there with Suse that knows another way to change security settings with going through Yast 2?

Reboot into single user mode (linux 1 at LILO boot prompt) and change your root password to something with only one character. Then reboot and change your security settings as you want them, and then change your root password back.

Should work. ;)
