Gnome... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Debian on my Pentium 233 system. I finally got around to getting X up and running on it. ANyway, I get it configured and everything, seems fine. I run X, and my default window manager is Blackbox. I also have another one called TDW or something that starts with a T (too lazy to go look).

Anyway, I want Gnome on it. According to dselect, Gnome IS installed. How do I use it?

edit/create the file .xinitrc in your home directory to have the following line

gnome-session

voila :)
