Okay, no more excuses.

I now have TWO computers, and my older one shall be my tweak box. No more partioning, no more worries about messing up windows (excepting the total deletion :D )!

I think most hardware will be covered, except maybe the soundcard. My @Home connection will (should) work, because after a search of the board, I found that other users with SMC1211TX Ncards are up & running...

Currently downloading both ISOs of 'drake... first one is 80% done. But before I can connect with it, I'll have to call @Home and order my second IP#... and buy a friggin' hub or somethin

a) Don't buy a second IP - use Linux to share the connect (which will require a hub or a crossover cable)
b) Use :cool: Debian :cool: instead of Drake :p

Well, I'm 23% done d/ling the second iso of drake... so you'd have to really sell me on debian to make me start all over... lol

go to local chop shop and get a crossover cable, it's 10 bucks.

sortof a null modem cable for network cards.
