okie i Cant use xfree86 as it doesnt support my card so i got ahold of a accelerated-x server from www.xig.com (http://www.xig.com)
what i am trying to do is get my display working in my LFS system
the 2 packages i have come in .rpm format they are
3Daccelx_PM3OxygenVX1-3D-XSERVER-1.1-3.i386.rpm
xsvc-2.1-2.i386.rpm
i did a little bit olf hunting through my distrobution base and it appears that these packages installed there files into subdir's of X11 which leads me to belive i need x11 or are these packages stand alone (i doubt it)
secondly sence they come in .rpm format and i am seeking to get my x on my LFS i am forced to use
rpm2tgz
how would the commands i use to install the rpm format of these packages translate into tgz
the commands are
rpm -i --nodeps <filename.rpm>
the xsvc package after running the command brings up a config menu to configure the display
any help would be great thanx :)
