Hello,
well, I was thinking , are there anything that will make a real transparency (like in terminal , it won't show just the background, but all windows under it) ?

Well, I guess if you want to code it yourself...
I really don't care about transparency, so I'm not going to bother with it.
For the record, it *CAN* be done. I found a theme once (need to find it again) that made the menu's transparent. Note, it did not do this with anything else, just the menu.. :confused:

Funny you should mention that, I just tried out Mandrake last night and their version of KDE has transparent shaded menus.
Maybe able to export as a theme? I'll look into it.

The lack of true transparency is not a limitation of kde but of the Xwindow system. I'm not sure if anyone is looking at implimenting it or not, but I would have to say it's low on their priority scale if they are.
