gnome panel

For some reason my gnome panel won't save the settings when it closes. Everytime I logout and log on again, it goes back to settings saved about a month ago. Any ideas as to what is going on here? It may have something to do with KDE which I loaded for a little while to test out but messed things up enough that I've gotten most of it back out aaagain. Any help would be appreciated.

You could try deleteing ~/.gnome directory. Also check the available space in your /home directory. I found that when I was out of space I couldn't save my settings.
