Gnome in Slack 7.1

Anybody here using Gnome with Slackware? I got Slack 7.1 a couple of weeks ago, and I've been using KDE because in Gnome there's no pager on my panel so I can't switch windows. Any ideas?

Yea... take your mouse and push it all the way against the left side of the monitor (not kidding, move the pointer as far as you can. I think that pulls up the other windows. (It does in Gnome/Enlightenment anywho...))
