Afterstep Preferences

Can someone tell me if you can configure the Afterstep virtual desktop to: a) only switch to a new desktop by clicking in the little Desktop icon (instead of automatically folowing the mouse cursor); and b) adjusting the time delay for how quickly the virtual desktops switch when your mouse cursor touches the window border (we'd like more of a delay). Thanks!

Does anyone know how to configure AfterStep at all? I'm on RH 5.2 with no admin support. I can't find a .steprc anywhere on the system - and even if I could, I wouldn't know where to start. Is there some kind of GUI console one can use to set AfterStep preferences? TIA, Matt

I've had some issues configuring AfterStep and I eventually moved onto Enlightenment.

Actually I run Gnome/Enlightenment at home. It's on another machine that uses AfterStep - and I don't have a choice; but I would like to tailor it some....
