Could some kind soul help me with this (probably real dumb-***) question.

Running RH7.0 and set it up duting the install to boot into the Gnome Log-in screen.

How do I change this to the KDE Log-in Screen - I miss the option that isn't in the Gnome screen to Restart X-Server !!!!

As an alternative is there a command to restart the X-Server ??

Thanks in advance

Well I've heard tell that RedHat likes to change everything about their distro with each new release, but, in 6.2 you have a file:
/etc/sysconfig/desktop
In that file is one line , mine says:
DESKTOP="KDE"
Your's probably says GNOME, if you change it to KDE I think, unless RedHat has changed things, that will do the trick...

You were spot on - thanks again. I've learned just a little more about Linux that's gonna be stored in the grey matter !!

Anyways, I've reached the view after a week of friggin round with RH7.0 that its pretty crappy and full of bugs/broken - so its getting ditched for Suse 7.0 or StormLinux.
