Sorry I'm just still a little distraut. You know, I was not expecting that. When I read the topic, Arigato, I was like oh must be something about that song, you know, Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto or something. Then when I read the first few sentences about him being in the airplane, I figured he wanted to tell us something cool he did at an expo. I had no idea what was in the lines ahead... I almost cried :(

"Jason Brietstein"...remember that name. The name of someone who actually did what most people only consider in passing. LNO is one of the most amazing achievements on the internet and a true haven for learning. Although it couldn't last forever, the LNO community will always remember that name as its founding father. I know, this has all been said. All I want to say is that my hat is off to you.

Bye Sensei, :(
A strong second to what Tyr-7BE said. You are to be admired / worshiped / remembered as the founder of a great thing that helped countless newbies.
We can only hope internet.com has the good sense to sustain the effort.
Go forth with our Love and Best Wishes for Yourself and LinuxGirl. After all you married her not LNO.
Live Linux and Prosper, and may the Source be with you both.

sensei: hopefully all turns out for the best for you and Linuxgirl and thank you for creating a solid place where a good niche of the *nix community can congregate...

I, too, have been out of the loop for the past two weeks and am so sorry to hear about the problems here at LNO. As a newbie who has learned so much here and hoped to learn much, much more, this is devastating news. We all owe Sensei big time for creating such a successful "home" for us. Good luck, Sensei, in whatever your next endeavour might be, and THANKS.
