Debian on a T4800CT notebook

Hi Guys !

Just today i bought a Toshiba T4800CT notebook and now iam trying to install Debian on it . i have managed to install it so far that it asks me to configure the pcmcia card . But i dont come any further . It always says that it found an error after it asked me for the settings and then it trys it and then it gives the error . No specific error number just telling me that it couldnt do it because it found an error .

What can i do ? I need it for network - internet access !

Gday mate,

Have you tried running the setup without configuring network support? If you try that and manage to get the base system down, you can go through and fix it up after you install.

Just a thought.
