LILO PROBLEM RHAT 7.1

I JUST FINISHED INSTALLING RHAT 7.1,
IT CRASHES AT L , ( WHERE ITS SUPPOSE TO SAY LILO )
, , I BOOTED IN FORM FLOPPY, AND I TRYED TO INSTALL LILO MANUALLY , BUT IT GAVE ME ERROR SAYING " BIOS DRIVE 0X83 MAY NOT BE ACCESSIBLE " , WHAT IS THIS PROB RELATED TO... HOW CAN I FIX IT?,
THE COMPUTER IS BY DELL, I WILL LOOK UP THE BIOS I HAVE IF IT WILL HELP..

What kind of drives do you have on your system and where are they connected.

Example:
hda hard drive
hdb nothing
hdc cdrom
hdd nothing
...

Hello, if your hdd is in the secundary you should do something like thisother other = /dev/hdb1
label = dos
map-drive = 0x80
to = 0x81
map-drive = 0x81
to = 0x80
table = /dev/hdb
this is for you can access your windows particion, if you have one. reinstal you red hat and let him put the boot on the MBR and the add this to your lilo.conf, and all you have to do next is to write "dos" when you wannt to go to windows
