fetchmail

does fetchmail require any mail daemons to be running (like postfix)? I can't seem to get fetchmail to work and I was wondering what other services (if any) it needs.

Fetchmail requires an SMTP server, such as Postfix, sendmail, qmail, smail, zmail, etc.
