When you say drivers, do you mean multiple files? What format are they in, e.g., rpm, tar.gz?

Some Google search results for MD563X-HaM (http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&q=MD563X-HaM&btnG=Google+Search) that may help.

.tar?

tar xvf filename.tar

.tar.gz?

tar zxvf filename.tar.gz

Then cd into the newly created directory (cd filename) and then read the Install and Readme.

There is a NHF here at LNO on installing software which explains the above process.

the files name is Intel-v92ham.tgzi have tried the instructions that came with it and they do not work, or i am doing something wrong and i also tried the walk thru NHF and it did not work with this either. you can goto Intels site and try them yourself if you like, its the MD563x-ham drivers...   i dont know what to do next, i do google searches but they just end up leading you to someone like myself who is trying to find more info

What part does not work? What do the instructions say?

Sorry but I'm not going to install drivers for hardware I don't have.

I have Intel MD563X-HaM V.90 Modem
along with kernel 2.4.X

Of the 2 drivers that intel provides
v.92 , 2.4.X and v.90 , 2.2.X

I'm out of luck.

Which v.XX do you have?

I know this post doesn't help your problem, just thought I'd join in with the problem :)
