I am trying to configure my Scroll for my logitech first mouse with scroll (PS/2). I dowloaded the file Enable_Logitech_Wheel from http://freshmeat.net and run makepgk (gets me a tar file - im more comfortable so far with them). Anyways I am running Slackware 8.0 with kernel 2.4.5 GUI KDE. The readme does not make any sense to me and there are no help files on LNO. Any help would be great.

Also - can my package read NTFS???

You can probably find config examples at www.xfree86.org (http://www.xfree86.org) for you mouse which would include getting the wheel to work.

Can you load the ntfs module? insmod ntfs and the lsmod

If the ntfs module does not exist, then you will likely need to recompile the kernel to include ntfs support.
