I'm tempted to give Storm linux a try... Debian, but like a friendly install it seems. Hrm. Any impressions on it? I was looking at linuxiso.org

I see like hail and rain versions on linuxiso.org, what are the differences between hail and rain. hrm.

I see from the file sizes that one is a lot bigger than the other. Maybe Hail is the 'chunky' version with all the extras. I wonder...

Storm is a good distro. Based on Debian.
Not that you should be scared of pure Debian -- it's a great, solid distro that isn't as difficult as some say it is. Really.
If you decide to get Storm, get Hail... that is the most recent version. Rain is old.
Hail is based on Debian "Potato". I use Storm primarily. It works great.
But, in the end, I use the console so much that I might as well use pure Debian.
But either way, they are pretty much the same, just Storm has more GUI-fied administration tools as well as addtional things like Helix Gnome and Netscape.
(Debian will be releasing it's 3rd potato release soon which will include Mozilla18 and some security fixes).
Either way you can't go wrong. I've been very happy with Storm.
