When I unzip the files for dsniff I have a bunch of .c files and some .8 and some .h. When I try ./configure in the directory where I unziped it says checking for Berkeley DB with 1.85 compatibility... configure: error: Berkely DB with 1.85 compatibility not found
What do I need please
I have 2.2.16-22 version of RedHat 7.

Just a guess, but I think you need to install Berkely DB with 1.85 compatibility :p
Is there a Makefile in the directory already? With some installs, the configure option is optional, and you're able to do a make right off the bat.

You need to go to the dsniff web page and in the FAQ it will tell you how to compile the BerkelyDB properly so you do not get that message.......good luck after that i still cant get the rest working, if anyone knows a lot about installing dsniff please let me know, i get a few errors after the ./configure,
