Hello All !

RealPlayer is running OK but playback is rather choppy, I checked my settings and they seem OK. Could it be my old TNT 8MB videocard ? since my cpu is a K6-III/450 with 128MB RAM and I watched the cpu usage is way below MAX.

Any suggestions ? How is yours set up ?

Have you got the final release of version 7 or the beta? There were performance issues with the beta with some file formats.

The final Red Hat 7.0. Hmmm, I am using the UDP protocol instead of the TCP which is better for streamed media but still choppy...

Yes I just got it from real.com a week ago, so I guess it is the latest. I am on a 56 k ISA hardware modem that otherwise reasonably fast. How is yours set up ? I mean what settings did you find to be working best ?
