Hello,
I have been trying to compile a 2.2.18 kernel on Redhat 6.2 to add SCSI support - but I haven't had any luck.

NOTE: NO bootable drives are on the card - only an optical drive...

I've downloaded the patches for it, but they won't work. The R.H.6.2 patch will only work with my 2.2.14 kernel - It won't patch period on the 2.2.18. And when I try to use the R.H.7 patch - It'll compile - but won't make a bzImage

What patch should I use? Tekram only has patches by Distro/Version (here :)

Tekram Linux FTP (ftp://ftp.tekram.com/SCSI/3X5/Linux/)

Would getting one of thaose patches for a distro that natively has the 2.2.18 kernal work? Any other ideas as to what I can try?

Thank You for your time,
