I just recently installed Red Hat Linux 7.0. Installation when smooth. Although I am a newbie to linux, I can get into X windows and what not. Although now when I boot into Windows, my CD-ROM and CD-RW are missing? I am using LILO. Both drives are detected in the bios. I am really confused. Someone lend a hand?

Thanks in advance,
Eric Waylan

After deleting the linux partitions, and removing lilo, I am now able to see both of my CD-ROM drives in Windows.

Can anyone give an explanation to this?

With all of this flowing information, I decided to try a reinstall of Linux. I chose to install KDE instead of Gnome, and walla! It worked. There is only one more problem, which I will post a new topic for.
