Good morning all. So far, I've been content to be able to 'run' Linux with a typical (l)users ability. I'm ready to go farther, but.....a coupla questions first.
Has anyone else ever seen the Xterm warning 'Sound Card is out of Range'? Where do I look to find the cure for that?
My account name and my email name are different at my provider. I can send email from Pine, but never receive it. Do I need to install\configure sendmail? If so, where should I look for assistance on it?
Is there any Linux software that will allow me to use my (non-additional-hardware-requiring) DVD drive? If so, where should I look for it?
I thank everyone for whatever assistance in finding sources they are willing to provide. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
